RECREATIONAL CAMP - Ages 4 & Up

Step into a week of fun, friendship, rhythm, and creativity at our Irish Dance Camp, designed for dancers ages 4 and up. This immersive program blends high-energy movement with the rich traditions of Ireland, ensuring every camper builds confidence and lasting friendships.
  • Irish Dance & Fitness: Dancers will explore the basics of traditional Irish dance, focusing on rhythm, coordination, and foundational steps. Fitness is woven in through fun cardiovascular exercises, stretching, and games that keep bodies moving and minds engaged.
  • Music & Culture: Campers will dive into the "wonderful world of Irish culture" through traditional music, Irish language basics, and fascinating folk history. Special workshops may include introductions to Irish instruments like the Penny Whistle or Bodhrán.
  • Crafts & Creativity: Daily art sessions allow kids to express themselves through themed crafts.
  • Friendship & Fun: We foster a supportive, non-competitive community where campers engage in team-building exercises and social games. The week culminates in a special performance for family and friends to showcase their new skills and "fabulous" Irish dance progress.
Whether your child is a first-time mover or an experienced dancer, they will find a "valuable and meaningful experience" filled with laughter and joy.Looking for an activity for your school age child during Spring Break?  Irish Dance Camps are a great way for  new students to learn Irish dance and fantastic way for current Irish dancers to advance with an immersive week of Irish Dance, fun, fitness, and friendship!

COMPETITIVE IRISH DANCE CAMP - Ages 6 to 14

Elevate your competitive skills this summer at our Competitive Irish Dance Intensive, specifically designed for dancers ages 6–14 competing at Beginner Levels 1–3 (Bunghrád, Ullmhuchán, Meanghrád). This high-energy camp moves beyond the basics, focusing on the technical precision and physical power required to climb the competitive ranks.
  • Precision Technique: We break down the "foundations of good technique", focusing on essential movements, skill, and tricks. Dancers will refine their postureturnout, and toe height through targeted drills to ensure every movement is competition-ready.
  • Soft Shoe Mastery: Refine your ReelSingle Jig, Light Jig, and Slip Jig with a focus on "elevation and crossing". Our sessions include specific leap-knee exercises and leg-swing drills to improve jump efficiency and grace.
  • Hard Shoe Foundations: Dancers will "make some noise" as they transition into more complex rhythms. Focus areas include mastering the Treble Jig and Hornpipe, perfecting treblesclicks, and stomps, and maintaining clear, rhythmic timing.
  • Stamina & Conditioning: Build the "anaerobic endurance" needed to finish a full round with power. Training includes intervals, squat jumpsplyometrics, and single-leg hops to push past the "wall" during competition.
This intensive provides a "safe place to grow" while instilling the perseverance and rhythm necessary for the feis season.
