CANADIAN OPEN IRISH DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 Canadian Open Championship scheduled for December 2020 has been cancelled. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021, dates will be announced as soon as possible.
Dancers compete in 5 Solo Levels of CRN Bunghrád, Ullmhúchán, Meanghrád, Árdghrád, and Craobhghrád
- Competitions are offered for all ages and abilities, including adult students.
- Team competitions include all traditional figure dances and modern choreography.
- All dancers are welcome to compete in our Open Platform Irish dance competition, regardless of school, organisation or affiliation.
NORTH AMERICAN AND IRISH OPEN QUALIFIERS
We were delighted to host the FIRST North American & Irish Open Qualifiers at the Canadian Open Championships on Saturday, November 30th, 2019.
The is the first time dancers in Canada have the opportunity to qualify to compete in the North American and Irish Open Dance Championships (Minneapolis MN Feb 15 - 17th, 2020 and Irish Open Championships (Ireland May 1 - 3rd, 2020)
Dancers must placed in the top 33% in any one of their dances to qualify for the North American & Irish Open Championship.
